Last Saturday as I was cleaning the house, I wrote down - room by room - the things that needed to be done in each room. (Example - dust the light, organize the closet, paint the baseboard down the stairs, paint the wall in the living room etc.) After I'd written everything down, I had a list of 53 items and 3 pages long. A 3 pages to do list -- get real! I knew that in order for me to accomplish any of it, I needed to break it down by week. I also knew that I'd do my best work while the boys were still in school, so I've taken the next 5 Tuesday's off and am going to work like a mad woman!
Yesterday I accomplished the following:
1. Grouted the floor in the downstairs bathroom.
2. Stained the porch swing.
3. Painted the door jams on all 4 outside doors.
4. Painted the back door.
5. Spray painted the bike rack black.
6. Sprayed off the patio and set out the patio furniture.
7. Cleaned the grill.
8. Weeded for 1 hour.
9. Grocery shopped.
I accomplished this all before 3:00pm -- well except grocery shopping. I did that while Tyler was at basketball practice. When my head hit the pillow last night, I was OUT!! I worked harder yesterday than if I'd put in a day at the office but it sure felt good to know that I've crossed 8 things off my to do list -- only 45 more to go!

Wow, could you please share a little of your energy! You are amazing! Keep up the good work. It sure is nice when things get accomplished. I need to know your secret.
Have a great week!
I am worn out just reading all the things crossed off your list! My new neighbor needs some old farm equipment moved, could you put that on your list as well?!
