Kody is ten today. WOW - it really doesn't seem like 10 years ago that we brought a 7 lb 6 oz baby boy into the world. As every mother does, I still remember the details of his birth very vividly. We were anxious to add to our family and excited to have another healthy and happy little boy. We knew we wanted this new little boy's middle name to be the same as my dad's and grandpa's which is Wells but we struggled with a first name. Obviously, we had named our first boy Tyler and thought it might be fun to have a "K" name - since we already had Todd, Kara, Tyler- we might as well keep the pattern going! We tried many, many, names but nothing seemed just right. One day as I was flipping though a book, I saw the name Cody - and it just hit me! Cody could become Kody Wells Downs.

We love Kody!! His cousins just idealize him and want to be wherever he is!! He is so patient and always takes the time to play with them. Thanks, Kody for being such a great kid!!
