Lazy New Year's Day

The Christmas decorations are put away and winter/snowmen decorations are up and now I feel like I need to clean out EVERY single cupboard and closet in my house! I seem to go through this every year -- at least until I go back to work and then I am slammed with tax season and really don't look back again until mid-April. I'm doing good to keep a home, kids, a job, and a family above water during tax season that I don't have time to worry about dirty closets! Maybe it's time for another to do list that I can slowly check off.

We partied with the Godderidge's until about 1 am last night. When we got home, I was still pretty wired so I watched tv for a while before falling asleep about 2:30. I woke up around 6 when Todd got up to help his dad milk the cows. Stayed awake for a couple of hours and then had a nap at 9:00 in the morning. I finally woke up about 11:15am! I decided since it was almost noon, I better get going if I wanted to accomplish anything today.

We enjoyed the holiday season and made it through without too many fights from the boys but I am looking forward to getting into our routine again -- please remind my of that when I'm sick of spelling words in about two weeks!
